To follow up the studio’s critically acclaimed nature film, Earth, Disney will be releasing, Oceans. And to promote what will undoubtedly be an incredible cinematic adventure into the mysteries of the deep, Disney enlisted two of the world’s foremost oceanographers, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato.

I kid! The Sonny and Cher of Disney have actually teamed up for the single “Make A Wave,” a lush ballad celebrating all the glories of the world’s oceans.

Joe and Demi are pretty cute, but they’ve got their work cut out for them here, going up against a veritable who’s who of the cutest of ocean dwellers. I mean, Demi Lovato vs. a Sea Otter?

Sorry, Lovato, YOU LOSE! Joe Jonas? He may be the dream date of millions of girls, but can he jump out of the sea and do a 360 twirl like a dolphin? I don’t think so.

The video is super cute and full of adorable pop stars singing and sea creatures doing their sea creature business.

Disney’s Oceans is in theaters April 22nd.
