It’s that time of the season for arguing. The 2012 nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced, and this year’s list features plenty of A-list names from the rock and hip-hop worlds.
Among the first-time nominees this year are hard-rock legends Guns N’ Roses, goth/New Wave heroes the Cure, hip-hop pioneers Eric B. and Rakim, and two of the most influential female-fronted groups, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Heart.
